STATE OF TEXAS OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. old fashion oats
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans, toasted
1 c. flaked coconut

Cream butter, butter and sugars; add egg, milk and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.

In medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and oats. Add to creamed mixture and mix until blended. Stir in chips, pecans and coconut. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
