TEXAS - SIZE CRUNCH COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butter brickle chips
Chopped almonds

Cream the first 6 ingredients. Add dry ingredients, stir in remainder. Shape into balls, dip in sugar and flatten with a fork which has been dipped into sugar. Bake in a 350 degree oven.
