TURTLE COOKIES 
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
2 tbsp. water
5 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Pecan halves

Place caramels and water together, covered, in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave at medium power 2 minutes. Stir. Microwave at medium power for 30 seconds more, stir. Continue cooking on medium, stirring at 30 second intervals until mixture is smooth.

Stir in cereal until well coated. Oil hands and form mixture into patties, about 2 inches in diameter. Melt chocolate chips. Place about 1 teaspoon chocolate atop each pattie. Immediately press a pecan into chocolate. Allow to cool. Store tightly covered.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
