HEAVENLY ONIONS 
3 lg. Bermuda onions or any mild onions
4 tbsp. butter
1 can chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. grated Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1 loaf French bread

Cut onions in rings. Saute onions in butter until soft (not brown). Do not put too many in frying pan at one time. Turn into casserole. Put 1 can of chicken soup in same frying pan, add soy sauce and bring to boil. Sprinkle pepper over onions, also grated cheese over onions. Pour mixture over onions, cut and butter French bread. Cover top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
