ECONOMY SOFT CONTACT LENS SOLUTION | |
1 bottle salt tablets from drug store 1 bottle store bought contact lens solution Distilled water Baby shampoo Regular table salt 1. Take 1 salt tablet and dissolve in 6 ounce of distilled water. This is your basic solution, which you will combine with regular contact lens solution. 2. To combine with regular solution: 2 ounces of regular store bought solution with 6 ounce of the above solution. Use this daily to wash lens and soak them overnight. 3. Nightly wash your contacts in a dab of baby shampoo in the palm of your hand and rinse in tap water. Store in case in above solution. 4. Weekly place contact in palm of your hand. Add table salt (about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon) and enough of above solution to moisten salt. Rub on both sides of contact lens - don't be afraid of scratching lens as long as salt is moistened it won't scratch lens. This procedure eliminates the need for hot treatments or enzyme tablets. This is for soft contact lenses only. It will save you alot of money per year on contact lens care. |
