BOWL OF HEAVEN CHILI 
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
2 lg. onions, chopped fine
2 ribs celery, chopped fine
1 lg. clove garlic, chopped fine
Vegetable oil
2 lbs. ground beef
2 env. chili seasoning mix
1 qt. canned tomatoes
2 (16 oz.) cans chili beans
1 1/4 c. ketchup
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1 (12 oz.) can 7-Up
1 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
Granulated sugar to taste

Saute green pepper, onion, celery and garlic until soft in small amount of oil. Brown ground beef. When lightly browned add chili seasoning and sauteed vegetables, stir well. Add tomatoes, chili beans, ketchup, beer and 7-Up. Mix well.

Cover and cook slowly so flavors blend. When chili bubbles, add rosemary, oregano and sugar to taste. Cover and simmer about 1 hour longer. This is not a recipe for hot chili, but, rather a "sweet" chili. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
