DEEP DISH CHEESEBURGER PIE | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 (9-inch) pie shell 1/4 c. cheddar cheese, shredded 1 sm. onion 1 med. green pepper 1 c. herb stuffing mix 2 c. marinara sauce 1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Brown ground beef in frying pan with chopped onion, pepper and garlic. Drain off fat. Dump mixture into large bowl. Add marinara sauce and stuffing mix. Mix thoroughly. Cover mixture with pie shell (if using frozen shell, pre-thaw about 20 minutes). Sprinkle cheese over shell. Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees of until cheese and shell are golden brown. |
