CHOW - CHOW 
12 bell peppers
3 hot peppers, ground
3 medium heads of cabbage
8 onions
8 carrots
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
3 pts. vinegar
6 c. sugar
1/2 c. salt

Pour salt over minced vegetables. Let set 1 or 2 hours, then drain. Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables and heat. Put in jars and seal.
