CHOW CHOW PICKLE 
4 qts. chopped cabbage
2 qts. green tomatoes
1 qt. green pepper
1 qt. onions
2 tbsp. salt

Chop the above together. 1 tbsp. celery seed 2 tbsp. pickling spice (take out pepper) 2 tbsp. turmeric 2 lbs. sugar

Put spices in cloth and tie up save 1 cup vinegar out and mix with flour and mustard.

PASTE:

1 c. flour
1 sm. jar French's mustard
1 c. vinegar that you saved from above

Mix. Bring vinegar to boil with each item mentioned. Let boil for about 10 minutes. Put in chopped ingredients let come to boil for 10 minutes add paste stir constantly until thick. Pack in jars and let stand until it looks dry on top and put paraffin wax on top and seal.
