RICE WITH BEANS 
2 c. rice
3 c. water
1/2 or 3/4 c. beans
1/2 stick butter
Chopped onions & garlic
Thyme & black pepper
Parsley
1 tbsp. tomato paste
Ground cloves

Cook beans first. Put butter in casserole. Add onions and garlic. When these turn brown, add tomato paste, beans, thyme, black pepper, ground cloves and salt. Fry them for a while. Pour water (the water in which you cook beans) wait until water boils. Wash rice, strain and pour in. When water is almost dry, lower heat, cover casserole, 20 to 25 minutes. Then serve.
