3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. mincemeat

Sift flour, salt, and soda. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mincemeat. Stir in alternately with flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
