MOM'S BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/3 c. brown sugar or 1 c. white sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. sour milk
1 banana pulp, 3-4 mashed bananas
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour milk and banana pulp. Add nuts. Bake in loaf pan for 50 minutes at 350 degrees or until done.
