BAKED CUSTARD (MICROWAVE) | |
1 3/4 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar 3 eggs 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Nutmeg or cinnamon Put milk in 1 quart bowl. Add eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Pour into five 6 oz. custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. Arrange cups in circle in microwave oven. Cook on simmer (50% power) for 9 to 12 minutes. Remove each cup as it begins to bubble, and is almost set in center. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm or cold. |
