CABBAGE-BEEF HOT DISH 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 med. onions, diced
1 head green cabbage, coarsely sliced
2 med. carrots, sliced thin
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. regular long grain rice, uncooked
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can beef broth

Cook meat and onions in a 5 quart Dutch oven until pan juices evaporate and meat is well browned. Stir occasionally. Remove pan from heat and stir in cabbage, carrots and seasonings. Pour rice into 3 quart casserole; spoon meat mixture over rice, pour on beef broth. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Stir mixture together well and serve.
