DEATH BY CHOCOLATE 
1 box family size fudge brownie mix
1/4 c. coffee plus 1 teaspoon sugar or 1/4 c. Kahlua
3 boxes chocolate mousse mix (3.5 oz.)
8 Heath or Skor bars (1.2 or 1.4 oz.)
1 (12 oz.) container whipped topping

Bake brownies according to directions, cool. Punch holes in brownies with a fork, pour over coffee or Kahlua; set aside. Make mousse according to directions. Break candy bars into small pieces by tapping them with a hammer while still in the wrapper. Crumble half soaked brownies in the bottom of a glass trifle dish. Cover with half the mousse, layer with half the candy, then half the whipped topping. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.

This dessert has become a family favorite; it is as beautiful to look at as it is to eat. The recipe was on Ch. 5's noon news segment "Mr. Food".
