SOUTHERN GRITS 
1 c. water
3 tbsp. grits
1/2 c. milk
Grated cheese
Dash salt

Bring water and salt to boil. Add grits, lower heat and cook until most of water is gone. Add milk, then cheese. Should be creamy after milk has been added. This is for 2 people. One tablespoon of grits per person.
