STRAWBERRY PIE GLAZE 
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 qt. fresh strawberries

Bring first 5 ingredients to a bubbly boil. Remove from heat and add Jello. (May add red food coloring if desired.) Cool filling until just warm. Pour over fresh strawberries arranged in baked pie crust. Enough pie glaze for two strawberry pies.
