3 lbs. hamburger 3 tbsp. Morton's Tender Quick 1 1/2 tsp. coarse ground pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp. whole mustard seed 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke 1 1/2 c. cold water Put all of the above in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Cover and let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Form into 3 or 4 long rolls. Wrap in foil with the shiny side in. Punch holes in the bottom of each roll and place on a broiler pan with water in the bottom of the pan. Bake in oven at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Unwrap and cool. Wrap in plastic and keep in the refrigerator. |
