1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. lemon juice

Mix all ingredients together and chill in refrigerator. Shake well before using. Pour on your own lettuce salad mixture. This is my dad's favorite dressing for his salad.
