PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. reg. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
5 or 6 pineapple slices
5 or 6 cherries
1 c. brown sugar

Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Mix well. Mix dry ingredients together separately. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with milk. In 10 inch skillet, spread the 1/4 cup butter then arrange pineapples with cherries in hole of pineapple. Sprinkle the cup of brown sugar over pineapple slices. Pour combined mixture over the pineapple arrangement. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Turn over into a plate immediately.
