MICROWAVE CHILI 
2 tsp. oil
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (12 oz.) bottle of beer
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. hot sauce or to taste
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed & drained
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. chopped cilantro (optional)

Mix oil, onion and mince garlic together in a large bowl. Microwave on High for 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, beer, chili powder, ground cumin and hot sauce. Cover and cook on high until it boils, about 5 or 6 minutes. Stir, reduce power to medium and cook 12 minutes, stirring constantly or occasionally. Gradually add remaining ingredients as it cooks.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
