PINEAPPLE FLUFF DESSERT 
1 1/4 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple (2 1/2 c.)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
4 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 tbsp. butter
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Mix crumbs, nuts, and melted butter; reserve 1/4 cup. Press remainder over bottom of 10x6x1 1/2 inch baking dish; chill. Mix pineapple (with syrup), gelatin, and yolks; cook and stir until mixture thickens slightly. Stir in butter; chill until partially set.

Beat egg whites with salt to soft peaks; gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks. Fold into pineapple mixture. Pour over crust; sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Chill until set. Cut in 6 squares.
