1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/8 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 c. tomato juice
3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Slices of ham, shaved

Mix ground beef, egg, garlic, tomato juice, bread crumbs, oregano, salt and pepper. Form a ball and place on wax paper. Flatten out into a 8 x 12 rectangle. Place thin slices of ham on top of meat mixture; sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Roll up into a log and seal seams. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Slice like a meat loaf.
