SPICY HUNGARIAN STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 med. onion, sliced
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
3 carrots, peeled and diced
3 med. potatoes, peeled and diced
2 tbsp. oil
2 to 2 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of cayenne red pepper

Brown beef, onion and garlic in oil, drain. Stir in all other ingredients. Heat to boiling; reduce heat Cover, and simmer until beef is tender, 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
