GARLIC SNOW PEAS 
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 lg. garlic cloves, peeled & crushed
10 oz. fresh or frozen snow pea pods, trimmed, blanched, drained
Dash of salt & pepper to taste

Heat oil over medium heat, add garlic and saute, then discard garlic. Add pea pods and toss to coat. If using frozen peas, saute until hot and do not blanch. Season to taste. Serve hot. Other green vegetables may be prepared in this manner especially spinach and green beans.
