1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream shortening, sugar, and vanilla; add eggs and beat thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture. Bake until lightly browned.
