EASY CHOCOLATE ICING (JUST LIKE GRANDMA'S!) | |
Old, tried and true family recipe. Delicious on all types of chocolate cakes! 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 6 tbsp. evaporated milk 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar (sifted) 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) Gradually heat butter, evaporated milk and cocoa together in a small, nonstick pan on medium to low heat until it just begins to bubble. Remove from stove and stir in vanilla. Beat into the confectioners' sugar until smooth. Add chopped pecans, if desired. Submitted by: Cindy Davis |
