LEMON PECAN COOKIES 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
1 egg
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/3 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans

1. Stir together flour, soda and salt; set aside.

2. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugars and lemon peel until light and fluffy. Add egg and lemon juice; beat well. Add flour mixture, Rice Krispies cereal and pecans. Mix until well combined.

3. Drop by level measuring tablespoon about 2" apart onto greased baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in granulated sugar.

4. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets. Cool. Yield: about 3 dozen 2" cookies.
