1 sm. pkg. (reg. or sugar free) strawberry Jello
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 pts. strawberries (generous)
1 baked pie crust

Combine Jello, sugar and cornstarch. Add cold water and mix thoroughly. Heat to boiling until mixture coats spoon, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool and add lemon juice. Mix with sliced or halved berries and pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate until congealed. Top with Cool Whip or other whipped topping. Reserve some strawberries to garnish top.
