BEEF MARINADE 
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tbsp. minced parsley
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. allspice
1 can beef broth
1/3 c. soy sauce
4 tbsp. red wine vinegar

Heat oil and saute onion until soft; add remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool.

Pour over steak or roast and refrigerate for 12-24 hours, turning occasionally.
