OATMEAL COOKIE SANDWICHES 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsulphured molasses
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal

Cream first 4 ingredients. Add flour, cinnamon, salt, and soda, sifted together, to creamed mixture. Add oatmeal. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

FILLING:

2 lb. bag confectioners sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. water
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring

Blend above ingredients at medium speed. Beat at high speed 5 minutes. Spread between cookies.
