OLD FASHION CORN BREAD 
2 c. cornmeal
1/2 level tsp. salt
1 level tsp. sugar
1 c. milk
1 level tsp. baking powder
2 strips bacon, reserve drippings
2 eggs
1 sm. can corn niblets

Fry 2 strips of bacon crisp. Crumble bacon and reserve. Beat eggs with milk. Add baking powder, salt and sugar and beat thoroughly. Mix cornmeal, corn niblets and crumble bacon and stir thoroughly into egg mixture by hand. Grease pan with reserved bacon drippings and pour corn bread into baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes until brown or tester when inserted into center comes out clean.
