3/4 c. raisins 2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk 1/2 c. strawberry jam or any kind Mix all together except jam. Divide dough, put half in 8" pan. Spread with jam. Put other half of dough on top. Sprinkle with milk and sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot. 6 servings. |
