2 pkgs. spinach
3/4 lb. bacon (or use 1/2 can West Virginia brand bacon bits)
1 sm. onion, diced

Mix together. Add dressing as listed below.

DRESSING FOR SPINACH SALAD:

1 c. oil
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. poppy seed (optional)
1 sm. carton cottage cheese

Mix together and shake.
