COCONUT COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. oatmeal
2 c. Wheaties
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, Crisco and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Add flavorings. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add to first mixture. Stir in oatmeal, Wheaties and coconut and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
