PUMPKIN NUT COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. canned pumpkin
2 c. flour, sifted
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts, chopped

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and pumpkin. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients together, add and blend well. Add raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonsful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
