PUMPKIN NUT COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening (butter)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. pumpkin
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts, chopped

Cream shortening, add sugar gradually. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and pumpkin, mix well. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and spices together. Stir dry ingredients and mix until blended. Add raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
