PUMPKIN PUFF MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisin
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. pumpkin
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients together and add shortening; cut into dry ingredients. Add egg and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and beat well. Fill greased or lined muffin tins 2/3 full. Sprinkle with a little sugar. Bake at 350 degrees. Yield: 1 dozen muffins.
