1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

In heavy medium sized saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Place over medium heat, gradually stir in milk until smooth and chips are melted, stirring constantly. Bring mixture to a boil. Boil one minute, remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into serving dishes and refrigerate until set. 5 servings. Preparation time about 5 minutes, cooking time about 5 minutes.
