FOUR LAYER DESSERT | |
The whole family has tried this and loves it. Recipe is from my husband's mom. 1 cup almond flour 1 cup chopped nuts 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1 cup confectioners' sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 (16 oz.) tub Cool Whip, divided 1 (3 oz. ea.) boxes instant pudding (1 chocolate, 1 vanilla) milk (as specified on pudding package) 2 or 3 (2 oz. ea.) crushed Crunch bars, for garnish (Nestle) 1ST LAYER: Mix together almond flour, chopped nuts and butter and spread evenly on the bottom of a 9x13-inch glass baking pan. 2ND LAYER: Mix together confectioners' sugar, cream cheese and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over 1st layer. 3RD LAYER: Mix together chocolate and vanilla puddings with milk and let thicken before placing in pan. 4TH LAYER: Top with remaining Cool Whip and chocolate bits. Chill before serving. Note: It is best to put out the stick of butter and cream cheese to soften before handling. Submitted by: GT |
