COUNTRY CABBAGE | |
1/2 med. head cabbage, chopped 1 lb. smoked sausage, chopped 1 lb. carrots, chopped 1 oz. olive oil 1 c. water 2 tbsp. concentrated lemon juice 1/2 tsp. each of: basil, thyme, oregano, marjoram, sage, tarragon 1/2 tsp. minced garlic Salt and pepper to taste In large saucepot. combine water, oil, garlic and cabbage. Cook until tender and add remaining herbs and spices, stirring occasionally. Add cooked carrots. Cook sausage in microwave 2 minutes or 5-10 minutes on stove. Add to cabbage. 4 servings. |
