MOIST BRAN MUFFINS 
1 qt. buttermilk
2 c. boiling water
4 c. Kelloggs All Bran
2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

In large bowl pour boiling water over cereal and mix. Let cool a little and add buttermilk.

In a medium bowl cream shortening and sugar then add eggs and beat. Pour onto cereal, mix.

Add dry ingredients and mix but don't over mix. Store in covered container in refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes approximately 5 dozen muffins.
