ALMOND SQUARES 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 lb. melted butter
2 c. sifted flour
Almonds
Sugar

In large bowl, beat eggs until fluffy. Add sugar, extract and butter. Beat well. Blend in the flour. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Sprinkle sliced or slivered almonds and sugar over top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean at 350 degrees. When cool, cut into squares.
