RUMFORD BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. Rumford baking powder
1 scant tsp. salt
Crisco the size of big egg or rounded tbsp.
1 c. milk

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add Crisco, then milk. Turn out on floured board and roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake until golden brown at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
