SKILLET CHICKEN PILAF | |
1/4 c. butter 1 c. uncooked rice 1 c. chopped celery 1 green pepper, chopped 1 tsp. onion flakes 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. marjoram 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1 pkg.onion soup mix 1 can mushrooms (5) 2 c. chicken broth 2 c. diced chicken 1/4 c. parsley flakes Brown celery - green pepper and rice in butter. Add seasonings, mushrooms, soup mix and broth. Cook over low heat 30 minutes. Add chicken and parsley. Simmer for a few minutes. Serve with salad and French bread. |
