CREOLE CORN PUDDING 
20 oz. pkg. white shoepeg corn
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp. cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter 13x9-inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Spoon into buttered baking dish. Bake in preheated oven until custard is firm and knife inserted off center comes out clean, one hour. Serve hot. Makes 6-8 servings.
