CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE 
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 inch pie shell, partially baked
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1/4 c. butter, melted and cooled
1/2 c. Kahlua

Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips evenly in pie shell. Blend corn syrup, sugar, and eggs. Mix in Kahlua and melted butter. Pour mixture evenly into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees until firm, about one hour. Serve at room temperature. Top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired. Serves 8.
