NEVER FAIL FUDGE 
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
3 sq. chocolate (bitter)
1 c. nutmeats
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Cook first 5 ingredients until mixture comes to a boil (all over). Boil hard for 1 minute; add chocolate and boil for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring rapidly at first, then more slowly. Remove from fire; let stand 20 minutes. Add nuts, salt and vanilla. Beat and pour in a buttered pan.
