BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Mix filling ingredients; beat well. Add chocolate chips; refrigerate.

BASE:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; then add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Fill paper cups 1/3 to 1/2 full with flour mixture. Drop 2 teaspoons of cheese mixture on top. Don't smooth or mix in!

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes for large cupcakes or 25-30 minutes for small cupcakes.
