GUM DROP CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. white raisins
2 c. cut-up gum drops
1 tsp. baking soda in 1 tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. applesauce
4 c. flour

Mix together. May be baked in 7 cans or small loaf pans. Freezes well. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour.
